Blogs are usually musings of an individual that he puts online. It is an outpour of creativity for some which also becomes a business venture as ads bring in the money. These personal websites may also be organized into communities where people share ideas, meet friends, or do business.
Bloggers, or those people who maintain blogs, also archive their contents so people can pull up the information any time they want. The articles can be organized according to year and month published.
Bloggers also want to hear from their readers that is why it will be common to see a “Comments” section. Readers can leave any feedback that they want to share. It can be for any particular posts or about the whole blog.
If you are writing your own blog you also have to devote a section to tell everyone about yourself. Basically, you inform your readers who you are, your expertise, the goal of the blog, and your contact information. When you do this people will know why you are considered as authority in your chosen niche.

Interacting with Your Readers
Blogging is expressing yourself and sharing your expertise but it is also a way to interact with your readers. Knowing their ideas through comments broadens your perspective about things and ideas that you believe in.
Any blogger should make it easy for the readers to leave comments. If you are the reader you wouldn’t want to go through registration and all just to post a comment about a single post, right?
Having a lot of comments on your blog also signify that it is a widely read site. Here are some ways how you can encourage comments to come in:
• Invite comments by encouraging readers of your posts to participate in discussions.
• Ask questions. Entice the readers to voice out their mind.
• Write back when comments are posted.
• Sometimes go for something controversial to fire up the interest of the readers.
• Share a bit of yourself and let them know of some of your weaknesses. GP
